Biography

PhD Student & Researcher at Telecommunications and Networking Group @ IT-Aveiro

Hi, I am Flávio Meneses! I received my Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering M.Sc. degree in 2015 from the Electronics, Telecommunication and Informatics Department, University of Aveiro, Portugal, where I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. degree. My main research topic focuses on Mobility Management for Future Network Architectures (such as, Network Slicing), targeting interoperability mechanisms between different access networks. Other fields of my research involve Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Functions virtualization (NFV) and its applicability in heterogeneous environments. I am currently working as a researcher and developer for the Telecommunications and Networking Group at Instituto de Telecomunicações (Aveiro).
